These
ghillie suits are awesome. They are lightweight, fabric strips
sewn onto a mesh. They are 3/4 length and have a full length zipper for
easy on and off. They are not a poncho, but are like a 3/4 length
lightweight coat. They have slash pocket accesses to reach the pockets
of clothes worn underneath the ghillie suit. They come with an attached
hood and a face mask, that is of course separate. Made in the U.S.A.
They
contain no jute or burlap to get wet and stink or add unwanted weight.
The suits are excellent for bow hunting, migratory bird hunting, and of
course my favorite "go to" camo for predator calling. Because
of the excellent design and material, I use these suits year round.
During bow season, I use a ghillie over a t-shirt and jeans. Then for
ducks and geese, I use the ghillie over bibs and a jacket. NO MORE
BLINDS FOR ME. I am the blind. I sit or lie down amongst the decoys in
the field and become part of the scenery. If I need to move 50-100yds
to get a better shooting position, I just move. No blinds to mess with.
Takes 20 seconds instead of 5-10 minutes getting set up again. When it
is -20F and I'm calling predators, I wear the ghillie over my insulated
bibs and parka. They even work in the snow.
Instead of
3-4 camo patterns, use the ghillie. Lightweight, comfortable, durable,
affordable, effective. It works!!!
